This Privacy Policy explains how Adil Gülen Müzik (“the Service”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the website, related digital services, or mobile apps. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Ophelika Studio publishes the Service for the Adil Gülen music brand and is the data controller for personal data processed through the studio-operated product surfaces, except where a third-party provider acts as an independent controller (for example authentication hosts, app stores, or delivery partners for their own services). It does not cover third-party websites, stores, or video platforms that we do not control (for example YouTube players linked from lesson content).

3. Information we collect

3.1 Account and profile

If you create an account (email/password and/or other supported sign-in), we may process:

Email address, Firebase user ID, authentication tokens
Display name and profile details you provide
Profile photo (if you upload one via the device photo library)
Instrument preferences and account timestamps

Passwords are not stored by us in plain text.

3.2 Learning, appointments, and homework

Course enrollments and lesson-package notes
Appointment bookings and live-lesson links when provided by the teacher
Homework submissions (text notes and media you choose to upload or link)
In-app messaging related to teaching support

3.3 Shop and order requests

Product interest / saved items (may use local device storage such as AsyncStorage)
Order requests and contact / delivery details you share for fulfillment
Payment coordination metadata when a purchase is confirmed offline (we do not process full card numbers in the current MVP flow)

3.4 Notifications and technical data

Push notification device tokens (Expo / platform push) when you allow notifications
Session and security logs needed to run the Service
IP address and device / browser information to a reasonable extent for security and debugging
Cookie / similar technology use on the website as described on the product site’s cookie policy when applicable

3.5 Information we do not intentionally collect

Precise GPS location for marketing
Advertising ID for third-party ads (the Service does not run an ads network)

Photo library access is used for profile or homework media you choose to share, not for advertising.

5. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region, we rely on contract performance (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product improvement, without overriding your rights), consent (where required, for example certain notifications or optional communications), and legal obligations.

For users in Türkiye, processing is also described under KVKK (Law No. 6698). You may exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, and related requests by emailing us. The product site may also publish a dedicated KVKK notice.

6. Sharing and infrastructure

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Hosting as applicable)
Expo push notification infrastructure for mobile alerts
Hosting / CDN and device platforms (Apple / Google) for app distribution
Delivery or payment partners only when needed to fulfill an order you request

These providers process data under their terms and security controls, which may involve processing in or outside your country as needed to deliver the Service. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal data with advertisers for ads.

7. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed for the Service, safety, and legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us. Some backup or legal records may remain for a limited period where required.

8. Children

The Service is intended for a general audience. If you are under 18, use the Service with a parent or guardian’s guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data so we can delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to our Service (authentication, access controls, encrypted transport). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Update or delete profile content where the product allows
Sign out; request account deletion via email
Disable optional notifications in system settings
Manage cookies via your browser settings on the web
Manage store installs / account settings through Apple or Google

11. International users

If you access the Service from outside the country where our infrastructure is hosted, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries that may have different data-protection laws.

We may update this Policy. The “Effective date” and version above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
